TIFO CUP – Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
The TIFO CUP ("Tournament") is a competition hosted by TIFO The Game ("TIFO", "we", "us", or "our") where players ("Participants", "you" or “TIFOSI”) compete to achieve the highest score over a one-month period. The Participant with the highest number of points at the end of the Tournament will win a prize.
2. Tournament Period
The Tournament begins at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 23:59 UTC on the last day of the same month ("Tournament Period").
3. Eligibility
To enter the Tournament, Participants must:

Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their country of residence.

Have a registered account on TIFO The Game.

Comply with these Terms and Conditions and the general rules of the game.
TIFO reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants at any time.
3A. Registration and Acceptance

To participate in the Tournament, TIFOSI must register by providing a valid email address through the game or official registration form.

By registering, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.

The email address submitted at registration will be considered final and unchangeable for the duration of the Tournament and will be used to:

Identify the Participant

Communicate tournament-related updates
-
Notify winners
-

Failure to provide a valid, functional email address may result in disqualification or inability to claim prizes.
3B. Staying Updated via Twitter
-
All Participants are required to follow TIFO’s official Twitter account @TIFOGAME.
-
Important announcements including rule changes, prize updates, leaderboard highlights, and winner notifications may be posted there.
-
It is the responsibility of the Participant to stay informed by checking TIFO’s Twitter regularly.
4. How to Participate
-
During the Tournament Period, play TIFO The Game and accumulate points through gameplay.
-
Your total score will be tracked on the in-game leaderboard.
-
The Participant with the highest total points at the end of the Tournament Period will be declared the winner.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
-
The winner will be the Participant who has the highest number of points at the end of the Tournament Period.
-
In case of a tie, TIFO may use additional criteria such as time to achieve the score or conduct a tie-breaker challenge.

Winners will be notified via push notification and the email address provided at registration within 7 days of the Tournament ending.

Winners must respond to the notification within 7 days to claim their prize.
6. Prizes

The winner will receive a prize as determined and announced by TIFO.

NON Cash prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless stated otherwise.
6A. KYC (Know Your Customer) Requirements

In order to claim certain prizes, especially those involving cash, NFTs, or other items of value, TIFOSI may be required to complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process.
-
The KYC process helps us ensure compliance with anti-fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), and applicable legal requirements.

Failure to complete KYC when requested may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Example of KYC Process:
Participants may be asked to submit:

A valid government-issued ID (e.g. passport, national ID, driver’s license)
-
Proof of address (e.g. recent utility bill, bank statement)
-
A selfie or short video to match identity with the ID submitted

In some cases, a wallet verification if rewards are to be sent to a Web3 wallet
TIFO will only use this information for verification purposes and in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
7. Disqualification
TIFO reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who:

Uses bots, cheats, exploits, or any other unfair means to gain an advantage.

Engages in abusive, disruptive, or dishonest behavior.

Violates these Terms and Conditions or the general rules of TIFO The Game.

Provides false or misleading registration information, including an invalid or changeable email address.

Fails to follow TIFO’s official Twitter account as outlined in Section 3B.
8. Leaderboard and Transparency

The leaderboard will be updated in real time or at regular intervals.
-
TIFO reserves the right to review and adjust the leaderboard for fairness, accuracy, or suspected violations.
9. Limitation of Liability
TIFO is not responsible for:

Technical issues or interruptions that prevent participation or score tracking.

Errors in the leaderboard due to system glitches.
-
Delays or failures in prize delivery caused by third-party services or force majeure events.
10. Changes and Cancellation
TIFO reserves the right to:

Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
-
Cancel or postpone the Tournament for any reason without prior notice.
-
Substitute prizes with items of equal or greater value.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Tournament will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
